Ingredients

  • 100 grams 1 cup oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 grams 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 12 grams 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 150 grams 1.62 cups milk
  • 300 grams 2 cups all-purpose or wheat flour
  • 3 grams 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Soak the Oats:
  • In a bowl, combine oats, eggs, instant yeast, sugar, and milk. Stir until well mixed. Let the oats soak for 10 minutes. After soaking, stir to check if the oats have softened.
  • Mix the Dough:
  • Add the all-purpose or wheat flour and salt to the oat mixture. Stir until a dough begins to form.
  • Knead the Dough:
  • Transfer the dough to a mat and knead with your hands for about 2 minutes. Form the dough into a round ball.
  • Roll and Cut the Dough:
  • Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thickness. Use a round cup to press out small rounds of dough. Set aside the rounds and cover them with plastic wrap for fermentation (about 90 minutes).
  • Cook the Bread:
  • Heat a pan over low heat and place the dough rounds in the pan. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Flip the bread, cover again, and cook for another 5 minutes. Continue until both sides are golden brown.
